SAUSAGE KING TASMANIA 2009 AWARDS

26 Oct 2009

In the 2009 Tasmanian Sausage King Competition, Hill Street Gourmet Meats walked away with nine trophies for sausages in southern Tasmania! Our haul included three first prize trophies, in the Poultry, Gourmet and Continental Classes, four second prize trophies and two third prize trophies.

In the results for the entire State, our new Chilli Chicken with Red and Green Capsicum took a second prize trophy, and our Chicken, Spinach and Pine Nut was judged third best. Our Pork sausages were judged third best in all of Tasmania.

“I don’t know where to put these trophies,” says Shane. “There is no room left on top of the plasma.”

“The sausages that won the silverware are the ones our customers buy the most,” he adds. “That proves our customers know good sausages. Thank you for your support.”
