Leg ham smoked on site

HOME SMOKED LEG HAM

Our leg hams are smoked on site in our own smoking oven. For the smoking process we use Hickory and Applewood for a traditional flavour. For those who prefer a stronger flavour, the meat is smoked with Beechwood, specially imported from Germany.

The hams are moist, and sweet-flavoured. Worthy of adding to your Christmas menu but available to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

For game lovers ...
We can also supply Boar, Goat, Rabbit, Possum, Crocodile, Emu, Camel, Tasmanian Wallaby, Wild Venison and mainland Kangaroo. These are available by order only, as we are unable to carry the full range.

    Our range of homemade pre-cooked food is perfect for busy people who are looking for a wholesome, tasty alternative to fast-food. These include a seasonal range of curries and casseroles, which are frozen in convenient meal-sized packs (check our freezer cabinet). Alternatively, our tasty pies also make a quick and simple meal.

  • SMALLGOODS

    We carry a full range of Kranskys, Saveloys, Cocktails, Viennas, Frankfurts, spicy Chorizos and also home-made Belgian sausage. These are made by Shane’s father who has had 50 years’ experience in his own butcher shop. We decided not to make our own on-site since his tasted so good.

  • OFFAL

    We can supply any type of offal. Please order in advance.

  • Gourmet sauces and relishesEGGS

    The perfect companion for bacon, sausages or steak. We stock two brands of Tasmanian free-range eggs.

  • SAUCES AND RELISHES

    We carry a large range of locally-produced gourmet sauces and relishes.
