Tasmanian lamb is renowned for its flavour and quality. It is found on the menus of gourmet restaurants throughout Australia and overseas.

Our lambs range from 16kg to 20kg. This is the optimum size for chops and roast cuts. These Southdown lambs are specifically bred for meat and not for wool.

  • Diced lamb:

    Produced from the shoulder or leg of lamb (not mutton). Ideal for curries or casseroles and its tenderness means it can even be stir-fried.

  • Lamb mince:

    Premium lamb mince is made from shoulder meat. Great for a tasty Shepherd’s Pie.
