Hill Street Gourmet Meats was delighted to participate in this year’s Taste of Tasmania (from 28 December 2007 to 3 January 2008).

The Taste gave thousands of people the opportunity to sample our award-winning sausages and burgers (see our Taste menu below). Over the seven days of the event, we cooked and served more than seven thousand sausages and six thousand burgers!

“The Taste” is a signature event of the Hobart Summer Festival every year. It attracts more than 300,000 local, national and international visitors.

Hill Street Gourmet Meats was one of over seventy stalls, showcasing some of Tasmania’s best food and finest wine. Hundreds of outstanding performers entertained visitors from indoor and outdoor stages, and impressive international buskers performed outside.

Location: Princes Wharf No 1 Shed, in the Sullivan’s Cove precinct.
